How To Enter One or Two Digit Highways for Junctions

Am having a problem specifying one or two digit highway numbers when using the Junction function (Nuvi 2450LM, s/w 3.30, 2013 NA maps). Three digit highway numbers are usually found but if only one or two digits, all that is found is street numbers. An example would be the junction between highway 1 and highway 9 in Alberta, Canada. The proper highway numbers are indicated on the maps BTW.

Any help in how to enter these highways would be appreciated.

Have you tried entering "Hwy 1" etc? Often, in the US, one has to enter things like US190 etc.

Yes, & also tried various similar variations. "Hwy 1" and similar sometimes comes up with Hwy-XX at the start of the list but ultimately results in "No matches found" (for existing intersections in Alberta) so I don't know exactly to which highways it is referring. Some of the major highways have proper names such as "Trans Canada Highway" for highway 1 and Queen Elizabeth Highway for highway 2 in Alberta but choosing those names also results in no matches found.

BTW, I am using "Search All" for these junction searches with County or Country = Alberta.
