62st shutdown?? Hit "mark"

In woods brand new unit 62st ---- had unit on while scouting new area - wanted to mark a location and hit "mark" and unit shut off. Thought maybe I hot power button??

Another area and the same deal, hit "mark" and it shut off. Bought this gps like two weeks ago and already have no confidence in it?

Anyone else run into this issue??? Got a fix? Browsed the internet and saw units shutting down on power up but none such as this.

Try and empty the GPX folder (remove Archive folder and current.gpx) do a firmware update
if not done allready.

Also have you seen this before with the 62st?

Got the GPX folder and deleted stuff, it has a folder in there caled CURRENT and NAV -- these go too?

U Can delete the "current" folder or delete it's content. The unit makes this folder it self. Leave the nav folder for now.
And no, not seen devices that shut down when u press "mark" but it's nice to have a additional "off" button ;)
