Problems signing in to Garmin Connect

I can sign in here to the forum, to my account on garmin.com, and to Garmin Connect only via the "balloon" popup from the ANT agent after transferring data (via GoogleChrome).
When I try as normal using an IE explorer browser window, it doesn't work anymore!
Using the same computer, my wife can access her GC account no problem, using IE explorer... is there a problem with GC or what are we missing?!

I get an error Invalid username/password combination when i try and sign-in to Garmin Connect using my Garmin account details. The combination is fine for garmin.com.
