I came to the Garmin world having used the Sigma ROX platform for 4 years. The Rox 9 was overall a great computer that served me well. My Garmin 510 is a radical improvement.

Still there are a few things that the ROX platform did better.

First, the Training center software provided a multitide of graphs that are not available on Garmin Connect.
1) A multi line graph where various data elements are plotted on the same time axis.
2) Bar graphs over weeks and months allowing easy visuals of your mileage.

I dont think Ill be going to the new Rox 10 anytime soon. But I do miss some visuals that Garmin Connect could provide but does not.

Last word... one of the hardware features I miss from the Rox is average speed to the hundredths. It would be great to see this in future firmware versions.
  • I'm coming from Polar Pro Trainer and I miss exactly the same features! I need HR, cadence, speed and altitude to be plot in the same graph so I can analyze them - if they are split into separate graphs, it is impossible to read relationship between them.

It would be also great to have calendar like view to have an overview of every day mileage.

    +1

    +1 with those suggestions.

I'd like to personnalize my graph informations as I like : numbers of lines (maybe by clicking on the informations you want to display ?), average line for speed or HR, predifine informations on the user lika the HR zones...

Alle informations that could help us to progress in our traning and comprehension of our activities

    thx

Add more information in one graph - speed, hr, altitude
Add more analysing graph - Speed, hr, km ,time over time so that a progess can be analysed visualy.
Draw and calculate the real data captured from the device (1 sec interval) and not the stupid "smart capturing" which varies between 10 sek and 45 sec

FULL support for IOS Devices (come on - it cant be that hard to do that)

Check out the Polar Pro Trainer - It is a REAL benefit for training analysis.
For now i use the free tool "PowerAgent" to get the infos i require.
    thx

Agree with previous. Even if you can only overlay two charts at a time, that would be nice.. Also, when placing cursor on chart, show location on map view and visa-versa.
