Garmin Connect not working properly, uploads cannot occur!

Is there anyone "in-the-know" about this problem, or can anyone besides those who are simply "guessing and hoping", tell the users of Garmin Connect, when the GC site will be functioning properly?

The problem of the GC site not functioning properly began last Sunday, has continued all through this past week, and is now occurring again today, Sunday, 09/15/13.

The problem is so bad that now Garmin has finally posted a note about this problem at the GC site.
  • I've not had any issues with Garmin Connect since a brief issue about a week ago, which might have been a Sunday. Try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser or try another browser. I have been on Garmin Connect three different times today and everything I used was working.

    Have you been to the site in the last several hours?, Garmin has posted a message at the top of the GC site that states:

    [FONT=lucida grande]"Uploads and Goal Deletes have been disabled temporarily while we deal with some technical issues."

    This has been a reoccurring problem for the last week, and now Garmin finally acknowledged the problem with their message, yet gives no time or date for a fix.

    I have tried to upload runs from watch tonight. Site said they were succesfully uploaded but in history they showed as failed???? Message now saying uploading has been disabled??? Hope I will be able to resubmit run data when site operational.

    This is the typical "poor customer support" we as users of Garmin have become accustom to for the last several years.

    Prior to Garmin Connect, at Motion Based, those support personnel usually took care of problems relatively quick, unlike Garmin.

    This ongoing problem with GC for the past weeks is evidence of the poor customer support from Garmin.

    Yes, and I just went back to upload an activity and had no issues. Just to be sure you are talking about this site http://connect.garmin.com/

    And again, I used it often this last week and since the brief issue on the previous Suday, I've not had any issues.

    Did you clear the cache and cookies on your browser and try a different browser or even a different PC/mac?
