I purchased a Central Europe sd card for a StreetPilot C330 in late 2009 (I know, old) I've used it in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland without any issues. I am going to Italy in a few months and thought I'd start planning some routes.
I insert the sd card into the reader and then plan a route>address. The unit prompts me for the country. I enter the letter "I" and I get two options: Italia or Italy. When I select either, the next screen asks me to enter the city. As soon as I enter one letter, any letter, it skips directly to enter house number, which I can enter, then street. I enter a street name (which is a real address) then select Done. It always tells me the address is not found.
My frustration is that I can not even enter a city. When I select the option to search all cities, I get the same result. No addresses are ever found.
I realize that I can probably just purchase a new map (and probably should) but it's the principle of the issue. I paid Garmin a hefty $ to get this map and I'd like it to work. You know, get what you paid for!!
Any ideas on how to correct this issue? It only happens with the Italy portion.
