Internal server error when uploading ?

Former Member

My 305 is not uploading due to "internal server error". Any ideas on what this message means? How can it be fixed.
Thanks in advance

    Internal Server Error Also

This is the message I get when trying to upload a ride. it says 'failed' click on failed to see why. It then says internal server error.

Just done with a bike ride. Watch did not upload via the ANT device. When I plugged it into the computer, I could see it as an option to upload, but when I tried it says "failed" and clicking on "failed" says "Internal Server Error" ... any help?

    same for me in Canada

same for me with my fenix since today afternoon ... :(
  • Same problem here with FR 210. I had two activities to upload today. The one I care about uploaded with no problem. The other one hung on the upload. Then, I saw messages which said that connect.garmin.com was down. Since the site came back, I continue to get the internal server error message when I try to upload the activity. I am using the same computer and browser that I always use.
  • We seem to have multiple threads being started. However, the issue is the same, so I am merging all into this "master" thread.

    And the answer is?

We seem to have multiple threads being started. However, the issue is the same, so I am merging all into this "master" thread.

Great that the threads are cleaned up. How about an answer to the actual problem. This problem appears to go back to 2009 with no response from Garmin. These aren't $40 watches. They're $400-$600 watches.

I understand your frustration. However, I'm not a Garmin employee, just a volunteer moderator. I've already posted my suggestion on what you should do until the issue is resolved. If you've been unable to upload since 2009, then you have other issues separate from today's isolated site problem.

I'm also having the "internal server error" problem when trying to upload from my Garmin Edge 500.

    Same problem.
I can pair my forerunner 910xt with ANT agent but it fails when sending data to garmin connnect page due to a server error :( . I tried through garminc connect page but it shows the same message: "Internal Server Error"
  • I am also having the internal server error and tried to upload on a Windows XP as well as Windows 8. I don't think it is the computer because I was able to upload to "Ride with GPS" no problems

Your search ID seems to have expired (at least, I get no results found). I believe you were referencing this post?

It'd be nice if Garmin could confirm the issue for us, even say they're working on correcting it. I realize it's a Sunday, but clearly there are a lot of us trying to use the functionality.
