Internal server error when uploading ?

My 305 is not uploading due to "internal server error". Any ideas on what this message means? How can it be fixed.

    Happened to Me Too

    Got this error today. Rebooted the watch and tried again. It's still occurring. I contacted supported and did a hard reboot of the watch but still not working. Do I need to send the watch back for repair?


    I think it is a problem on Garmin's end.....don't delete anything and try again later.

    Just returned from a race and the warmup loaded, but separate files for the race and cool down did not. I've been using this for months and in going back I've noticed that on two other occasions the files didn't upload (and still wont). What's the deal?! Are the race results on my $600 dollar watch gone?! NOT happy!

    If anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated.


    I have experienced the same issue today for the first time..very disappointed...

    A few people need to chill out a bit. Looks like a server issue, and those things are not always too simple to sort out. People seem to have started having problems late on a Sunday evening, so give Garmin a bit of time to fix it as normally there are not too many guys in at most companies late on a Sunday.

    I have training data for the past 5 days to upload, so an extra day isn't really going to hurt me.

    It's 4 pages thread so I guess it has been a while like that.. and we can be dissapointed it should not happen so huge and rich company as garmin or at least getting fixed in shortly it seems like it's taking few hours already and it's weekend here people doesn't really have so much free time on thier daily basis so you should understand we do it all on weekend and now it's not available its kinda frustrating.

    I've had the 910XT for about 2 years along with a Garmin Connect account. Never have had problems. I just came back from a run and didn't find my activity in Garmin Connect after the upload from the watch. The .FIT file is on my Mac and I have successfully uploaded it to Strava without any problems. Garmin Connect didn't upload it automatically and when I try a manual upload I almost immediately get the error "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again". I also tried to upload the corresponding .tcx file and it also gave the same error. Again, I repeat, Strava had no problem with this file, but GC cannot handle it.
    I've included the .FIT file.
    Hello Garmin.. any solutions?

    Me too. The Garmin ANT Agent status panel says that the last up load was successful (several minutes ago). But when I log into Garmin Connect using my browser, the last run is not there. I tried to do a manual upload, and got the "Internal Server Error" message.

    Two days ago, I tried the same thing. Garmin ANT Agent status panel said the update was successful, but when I logged into my account, the last activity wasn't there. But that time, I was able to upload manually.

    I have the same issue on my Forerunner 110 - just comes up internal server error - how do I fix this?

  • I'm having the same problem... and just ran a full marathon that I want to analyze the results from! I hope this is resolved soon! I tried manually uploading both the .TCX and .FIT files with no luck.

    Probably since it's Sunday nobody is available to fix the problem on their end. Hope they can fix it tomorrow.

    Same issue here with Edge 510. Race was this morning. Worked fine few days ago (last I rode).
