I'm hoping someone on here will be able to help me.

I've currently got a Forerunner 110 which I've had since 2010 and I've been using Garmin Connect since then to log all of my runs.

I want to upgrade to the 910xt, but when I do this, my wife would like to use my FR110 and set herself up on Garmin Connect to log her own running activity.

I was hoping someone on here might be able to help with the following questions:

1. Is it possible to de-register my FR110 from my Garmin Connect account?
2. Once de-registered, can my wife create her own Garmin Connect account and re-register my FR110 under her account?
3. When I register a new 910xt, will my old FR110 activities remain in my Garmin Connect history, despite it having been de-registered?

I've tried calling Garmin Support, but they weren't 100% helpful. After >30 mins on hold, the answer to all three questions seemed to be 'yes', although the person I spoke with didn't inspire much confidence in her answers. Further, when I logged on to Garmin Connect, there didn't seem to be any obvious way to de-register my FR110 - I'm completely lost.

Rather than endure another frustrating wait/conversation with Support, I was sure someone on this forum has come across this situation before and might be able to help.

Thanks in advance

There's no need to de-register or register anything.
Just sign up for a new account, and upload as normal. If you are using the Garmin Communicator plugin, it will detect any Garmin devices that are connected, then you can choose which one to upload from.

You can use one device with multiple accounts if you want - just log in to one account, then upload to that. Or you can use multiple devices with one account.

    Thanks for that, much appreciated.

I'm glad I didn't waste more time contacting the support team.
