I started out with a Forerunner watch, but then swapped to a Fenix. I gave the forerunner to the girlfriend. Is there a way to remove the forerunner association from my connect account? At the moment whenever I or the other half connects their watch, it all gets lumped in together on my profile!
Log in to My Garmin and disconnect the device from your profile.
Huh? Where do you do that. There is no permanent association to a particular device to your account. Your garmin connect account does not care how many devices you have or if you even own them, you can upload others to your account too (but they show as your activity).
All you do is upload your activities from whatever device or devices you have. It stores the type of device with the activity so it can show you where it came from.
I'm assuming you must be doing automatic uploads to GC via the ant+ agent and must be using the same ant+ agent. If that's the case, then probably the forerunner needs to be doing manual uploads to their GC account
If that's not issue, then please be more specific about your device models and how you both are attempting to upload.
