I purchased my nuvi 1490 in US, from yesterday I am in Munich, Germany, and I had a city NT Europe map, but it can't acquire gps signal always, what's up? Thanks.
Any GPS device will take a while to get a position if it has been moved a long way since it was last used. Just leave it in an open space, with a clear view of the sky for a while. ie about 10 minutes. That should let it to figure out where it is.
