Laps/add laps to activity

Hi,
Is it possible to add/create laps from an activity.
Ex if I have an activity of 10 Km in 1 lap, is it possible to share in 10 laps? or to decide to share in 20 laps of 500m??In geonaute sw it was possible to create it.(and save it).
MY Pb is that i uploaded many tcx file and i lost the laps.....i need to have it again.

If you have a PC you cn take a look at the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info).
One of its features is to edit / add / delete laps very easily.
