Unable to upload workouts from calendar (Windows 8 x64)

Hi All, Hi Support,

I have recently purchased new notebook to replace old - it is HP ENVY 17-j005tx.

I used the training plan from garmin "Century" and set the start date to 26th Aug 2013.

When I click the little upload symbol and chose the send workouts to device, it seems to think I have 104 workouts, (bit strange???) and I click on OK - I am then prompted to choose to which device (I have the 310XT I plan to use for riding events and workouts and also 910XT for Swim and running) so I choose 310XT.

All seems to go fine however the ANT Agent never seems to try and upload the workouts to the watch at all, it is however able to upload my fitdata from the watch to garmin connect without any problems.

Is there some known issues with Windows 8 and garmin connect, in particular with uploading scheduled workouts?

Could someone in Garmin Support please confirm and help by testing this and let me know if this is a known issue or this should be supported and the issue indicating with my setup?

Are the workouts getting to your computer? Do you have an 'activities pending' message or something similar on ANT Agent? You might want to check the number of workouts on your 310. If you don't need what's there, delete them.

Sadly, there's little point asking Garmin to try anything here. If you think your difficulty warrants Garmin support, you need to talk to them through the proper channels.

Hi Philip,

I just checked - there is nowhere that I can find where it says there are any pending activities or other.

I tried again to upload and it did say as it did before the data has been written or something along those lines..

Do you have any windows 8 PCs? Is this problem the same across others using this platform or is it mine alone?

ok now I know why it says I have 104 scheduled workouts - its because I do, I scheduled the "Century" workouts (8 weeks) beginning later this month, and also have a 1/2 Marathon scheduled workouts beginning in January (I think it is 18 week course).

I just uninstalled all the Garmin drivers and ant agent then re-installed an paired up only the 310XT. Still no good....

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I had some older workouts on the watch and have deleted them all too.. still no good.
