I hope I'm posting this in the right section of the forum.
This is my very first post. I brought a Magellan GPS about 20 years ago and sold it shortly after. So it's been a long time since I have used one.
I am interested in buying the Garmin eTrex 10 to be used on a vacation. Will be camping out out west. I would like to know if I can enter the lat-long into it manually for the purpose of getting to certain spots from the camp site. This may be the only time I use it so I don't want to spend money buying maps for which I will probably never use.
I was able to do this with the Magellen but there doesn't seem to be any listings in the owners manual for this.
Any help will be appreciated
