Distance incorrect on connect/edge 510.

When I upload my ride from my Edge 510 to connect, both the edge and connect say it is 41.5km. However when I upload the tcx file to runkeeper or strava, it is saying 45.5km. This is a 10% difference. A google map of my route matches the strava and runkeeper distance.

What is wrong with the edge unit and connect? Has anyone else experienced this?

Along with the unit pausing recording a number of times during use, I find this very poor!

It is a problem with 2.70. During a course the distance is reduced by 10%

@BRIANQ1979: can you upload your original fit file here or send it via email (mathias.krallmann<a>freenet.de)?
I would like to check your data with the Fit File Repair Tool.

I sport with the 405CX and experienced more or less the same error since yesterday, all of a sudden. The 405 always worked well, untill now:
Distance on the Garmin 109 km, in real (Strava was right) 88 km.
How can I solve this problem?
