Nuvi 7 inaccurate location on map

My Nuvi 7 seems to be constantly inaccurate by approx 30m which is causing lots of problems when I get to an intersection. It doesn't seem to be a lag as if I stay still it doesn't catch up. It didn't do this when I first got the unit, only after updating software. Any ideas please?

I have the same problem with my Garmin Nuvi 40LM, it is always 30m or more off, i have been looking for a fix since i have gotten it and have yet to find anything. my old Gamin Navi 255w was always spot on. i have updated it, taken it out to country, tested it in the city, restarted it, given it hours outside with a direct line of sight to the sky to link to satellites nothing has worked.
