How do I insert an image?

I want to insert an image into a forum post. I click on the "Insert Image" icon and select a file from my computer. After selecting a file I click on Upload. When I do this with a 739.9kb file the error message says I have exceeded quota by 720.2kb.
Does this mean we can only insert an image smaller than 19.6kb? This is so small as to make it illegible. Why bother to allow inserting images if you don't want people to be able to make them out?

Tell me you can make out the information in this image.

I think you are limited to a total of 1MB of attachments, across all of your posts. So if you have uploaded a few images previously, they will be using up your space.
You can delete your old files by going to Settings, then Attachments, or this page: https://forums.garmin.com/profile.php?do=editattachments

For images, its probably easiest to upload them somewhere else, and just post a link to them. eg Imgur or Flickr will let you upload as much as you like, and give you BBcode for posting in the forum.
