can someone please tell me how I can delete tracks from my map screen? I have the tracks saved, but don't want to see them all when I go to the map screen. I just want to put them on the map screen as needed. Thank you
Do you mean on the GPS screen? And are these tracks you've loaded or just the track log made automatically by your Etrex?
yes, I'm referring to the screen on the GPS itself, and again, yes, these are tracks that automatically appeared on the GPS...But, I've also saved then . I just don't want to see any particular track until I need it
Change the track color (in properties) to transparent. BTW your post tile says "delete". As I understand it you just want to hide them.
I can't find anything referring to properties, but what I have done is the following( all using only the GPS). From the main menu, I chose TRACKS. I highlighted the track I wanted. It gives me options for track color, but none of them is 'transparent'. there is an option to SHOW ON MAP, but wether the box is checked or unchecked, the track still appears when I open the map for that area.
