I have a new nuvi 2595 LMT with updated software and maps.
Issue 1:
Warnings to change lanes/exit are not early enough. The previous nuvi 255 I had provided warnings with adequate time to change lanes. The 2595 does not. Is there a way to get warnings earlier or to get Garmin to update its software/firmware to do this?
Issue 2:
Somewhat related to Issue 1. The problem is that the device kept saying stay left, stay left, stay left until I was at the point where I needed to turn right. At 70 mph, that doesn't work very well. Is it a late warning problem or is it that the GPS thinks I am farther away from the exit ramp than I really am?
Issue 3:
Garbled voice. The speaking voice is drunk and slurred and garbled and quivering. What is going on with this device that the voice cannot be spoken more clearly? Maybe I should have kept the nuvi 255 with its ancient maps. It seemed to work better than the 2595 has thus far.
