I've had this unit for awhile and never new why does it save some "Favorites" in different languges? I have 360 points that I can't seem to delete unless I do each one by one on the unit. I would have thought I could connect via the software and select and delete but I can't. Any help?
You can't delete items on the nuvi range, that's the way the nuvis work. Initially they were never intended to work with software like Basecamp, so that ability was never built in.
You should be able to do a Delete all favourites though on the nuvi itself, should be under My Data, so you can copy all your favourites into Basecamp then delete all off the nuvi, edit them in Basecamp, and then send the ones you want back to your nuvi. I do that every so often to clean up my favourites.
