Cadence Issue - paired with Garmin 500, but data not showing in Activities?

Hi there

I'm using a Bontrager Duotrap - it pairs with my Garmin 500 fine, and light flashes when turning the crank to show that its receiving signal, however cannot see the data on any activities I've uploaded afterwards to Garmin Connect?

Should Cadence not show up automatically in a field on any Activities in Garmin Connect? Any functionality I need to amend?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is the cadence showing up on the 500 when you ride? You may have to configure the data fields to show cadence.

To answer your question - yes, cadence should show up in Garmin Connect.

Just to be sure, you do see a value for cadence on your edge500, right?? If you don't have that field displayed, then go into a page setting and add it just to be sure you are getting cadence info. Do you get any data uploaded to GC? route? times? speeds?

Thanks everyone - managed to fix it. I had the fields set up on the 500 but not reading showing. Literally a quick adjustment with the sensor sorted it out

<grin> oh.... you mean you weren't displaying the page the fields were set up on? <grin> if so, don't sweat it...... we've all had those moments!
