After returning from Europe Garmin thinks it is still there

My Garmin worked great in Europe but now that we are back in the States it is acting like it is still in Europe How do I get it to work in states now?

How is it doing that? It probably just needs some time left stationary with a clear view of the sky to relearn where it is.

If u travel more than 100K with your unit OFF, it needs a first fix again, it can take up to 20min after that all works as normal again. The same if you don't use your device for several weeks, it needs to get the Almanac of Sat posisions again.
