Can't find 310XT

Hi - I'm trying to transfer a course to my 310XT but the computer cannot find the watch. I've got pairing on, I've added garmin to trusted sites on ie9, I've got the latest ANT and Garmin Connect but when I go to transfer the course it says No Deviced Detected. I've also downloaded Training Centre and clicking Find Device on this says No Devices Detected... this is so frustrating. Anyone have any idea? Cheers.
