Why "Activity name" - "Untitled" after automatic download in Garmin Connect.

Hello. I bought a watch garmin forruner 310xt. After a few workouts I decided to download them to garmin connect. When I uploaded the garmin connect trainings were named "untitled" why they don't have a name?. I not properly loaded? Or in the garmin connect you need to manually sign? Tell me what to do at the training was the name.

And another question that I have created training in Garmin tsonnetst, sent it to the device. Perform this workout. Upload it to Garmin konekts, and in the calendar it appears as a separate item.

  • I found exact same issue! It's realy annoing... Can anybody help with that?
  • You have to manually name them in Garmin Connect. I find it easier to do at the Analyze > Acitivties page. Just click the 'quick edit' button and you can copy/paste the names of previous activities. The names do not have to be unique, so you can use the same name multiple times.

    It might be nice and convenient if Garmin would append the Workout name to the activity, but so far I've not seen that done AFIK.
  • since this week the Activity Name isn't saved using Quick Edit. If I click "Finished" everything will be saved except the text entered into the Activity Name field. If I use Full Edit everything worked as expected.
    Why does this happen. Garmin can you fix this as soon as possible please?
  • It works fine for me on the the activity list and the individual activity. What page did you have the issue?

    Remember that this is a user forum, so if there is a problem with the Garmin Connect website, you really should tell Garmin. There is a 'support' link at the bottom, then you can email, write or phone them.
  • after uploading a training the user is getting a window showing all its recent uploads with the latest on top, from there clicking the newly uploaded data a new window opens presenting all data of that run.
    It is the same window as if you open an entry in the activity list I think.

    If this won't be resolved within the next few days you are right I will tell that to Garmin support. Thank you for your hint.
