Garmin Connect Course Creator - Dumb question

Hi all,
I am sure I am being dumb but when creating a course, how do you move the map around to extend the course, I know that you can zoom in and out, but this seems a bit clunky

Click and hold on the map. Cursor changes to a hand. Drag the map until it's where you want it to be. Easy-peasy :)
