Sync 910xt using Two Different Computers

Hi there. This may be in the wrong forum. I have an iMac and a Macbook Air which I use when I travel (has been a lot lately). Is it possible to sync my 910xt to a single Garmin Connect account using two different computers, depending on if I am at home or away? Or will that mess something up?

Thanks
  • All it means is that you will have the files taken off your device stored in 2 different locations. Nothing that can't be sorted out by a move one way or another.
  • Oh! I was thinking that it synced directly with Garmin Connect, without storing anything on the computer. I haven't actually gotten the 910xt yet. It's being shipped. I don't want to mess with moving files from one computer to another. If that is indeed how it would work, I'll just pick one computer.
  • There's no problem copying the files from one computer to the other to keep the files in one place if it's more convenient to work on 2 computers. The other option is to have one computer with ANT Agent set to delete files after upload, the set to delete them - set to keep on the MacBook Air, delete on the iMac. To sync on the iMac after synching on the MBA, select transfer all.

I do recommend not keeping anything more than you need on the 910. Despite what Garmin say, these devices do not seem to work properly with data stored on them.
