cityXplorer Map Version Doesn't Match

Last year I bought a Garmin 1260T for its Advanced Pedestrian Mode for when I'm walking around Boston. When I bought it I got 1 free map update and it was version 2013.1. I also bought the Boston cityXplorer map a few days after that and it was also version 2013.1. I was going to update my Boston map this year but knew the 2014.1 map was coming out, so I waited. Once the North American 2014.1 map was available I bought the latest Boston cityXplorer map. The problem is the the cityXplorer map is only version 2013.2. Does this mean that the map I just bought isn't even close to being up to date? Why isn't it the same version like it was last year? Have I been ripped off?
