Garmin Fenix Temp Celcius/Farenheit - Garmin Connect

Not sure what I`m doing wrong.... I have the units set to degrees Celsius on the Garmin Fenix but when I open Garmin Connect, the reading is always displayed in Fahrenheit.

I am using an external ANT+ temp sensor, but don`t think that should matter.

Any ideas why it won`t display correctly in Garmin Connect please?
  • The settings in your device and on Garmin Connect are two different things. In GC, after you sign in, mouse over your user name near the top right, then select settings from the drop down list, then the display tab.

    Thanks for the reply....
Yes, I checked this before, but there are no settings to choose from for displaying from one temp format to the other.
That is only available on the watch itself.
However, after putting the watch to Fahrenheit and saving that, and then putting it back to Celsius - it seemed to have corrected the issue.
    So it`s ok now.
  • Well durn...... your are correct. I would not have thought that they'd require you to define distance units in both GC and on the device, then not do the same for temps and other units. Hmmm....... seems kind of hap hazard to me.
