I am a new user to Garmin Connnect. I have mulitple bikes, a road and trail bike. Is there the functionality to assign a bike to a trip when you upload them?
No, but on the edge500 and most of the other garmin cyclometers, the device itself keeps up with or allows you to select a bike for the activity. However, there is no way to easily change the bike that was used for a particular activity after the activity is recorded.
I don't think the Edge200 will connect to crank or wheel sensor so I guess there wasn't a need perceived for that. However it would be nice if GC did give us the ability to add a handful of user defined tags to each activity so we could filter and total data of those activities by tags.
I use a ForeRunner 310xt and am able to set up multiple bikes on the device. I just select the bike I'm using before I ride, and it's thereby assigned to the activity. Is that what you're looking for?
