Garmin Nuvi 2445 Lost my UK map please Help

hi

I bought a garmin and had a free download and as I travel to france quite a lot I downloaded the maps. Unfortunatly I didn't have an external memory card to fit everything onto and think that the france map data has installed onto the garmin erasing all the UK data. Is there anyway of getting my UK data back as I need to use it this week for a trip im going on. Does a factory reset, reset it back to UK maps?

This really isn't the place to ask this, you'd be better off posting queries such as this at http://forums.gpsreview.net/

A factory reset though won't reset it back to UK maps, and in any case there should be room on your unit for the whole of Western Europe. You can simply download the whole lot again using GarminMapUpdater. Look for the 'Install options' button bottom left.
