Change to metric/statute function top right hand corner

Hi,

I have seen (and used) a button on the home page (my dashboard) of Garmin Connect to change all measurements to/from metric on GC but it does not appear when I log in - it seems to appear quite randomly. Does any one else know why this might be? I had wondered if it was a function for European users (I often view the workouts of people in Germany and the UK, I'm in Australia) but it doesn't seem to stay true for that. I also wondered if it appears when I am not logged in, but then view the other persons workouts (via facebook etc). It appears next to your user name in the top right corner of the screen.

Anyone?

Managed to get a screen shot - seems to depend on whether I'm logged in or not.

Would anyone else find this feature useful? I'm always swaping between the two subject to whether I'm doing circuits on a 400m track or long distance runs in miles.
