Map Download - can't unlock map. help!

i bought the City Navigator® North America NT and downloaded it, but i can't unlock it.

i can't even copy and paste the entire code that came in a file that i was downloaded to the SD card, the last 5 digits are cut off.

what am i doing wrong?

Where did you downlaod it from and what program did you use? Normally there is no need to manually copy and paste an unlock code. Your best bet is probably to download it again but that's based on very little information from you.

I just got an email from customer support. They send a new unlock code which I had to copy and paste into the unit.

It worked!

Does anyone know how to upload this map info onto the Basecamp program?
