Manual input "Shoes" or "Gear" field?

I would like to see a field added to Connect (one that can be filtered in REPORTS) that contains "Shoe" or "Gear" information. The thinking is that you can track the wear and tear mileage of a particular pair of shoes or other gear that receives wear and tear during use. Many runners use different pairs of shoes for different activities. It would be nice to be able to track this accurately.

...or at least a user-definable field. A string field would be the best for this purpose, but hell, even a numeric field would be useful. Either would be very versatile, even the numeric would be, bc a user could assign whatever meaning for it they so choose. As long as the field is searchable and sortable via Reports, etc.

I can define equipment profiles on the 510 but cannot track them in Connect. Is this data stored anywhere else but the device? As others have said for years... Gear tracking, please!
