Customize Personal Records

It would be nice to add add my own distances for Personal Records. It would be nice to have a tolerance on these Personal Records also, like the Activities -> Filters.

Example:
I would like to add a 5 mile PR and give it a tolerance to 5.0 - 5.1 mile

    I agree.

add. : it's plain silly there's only a few PRs in GC; the ones Garmin chose for the users.

I was quite surprised that we can't have custom personal records.

I need something with combinations of distance and climb/descent as I do mostly off road trail races.

I agree, I would also like to make additional personal records on climbs/descents and speeds...
  • I agree, all mesures should be used to record our personal bests performances...

Yep. Agreed. I requested this separately a few weeks ago.
  • Agreed. I do a three mile track run each morning. Doesn't fit into Garmin's categories. I'd like to add my own.

You can customize personal brands of swimming and objectives in hours, minutes and seconds?

It should be possible for a PR to be calculated for any distance, ie., a 5k PR done during a half marathon, for example. I recently got a new PR for the 5k, but because I wenr 5.45k, it didn't count. This seems completely bizzare to me!

This is a must add feature! There should at least be a 5m and 10m options

    I totally agree with this.
If you do a warm up and cooldown during e.g. 5k run, then the distance would be too long for Garmin to count it for records. Should work like in Endomondo service that it tracks best distances from the whole workout. And it shows that information on every workout, so it's easy to see if you nailed a negative split workout or burned too many matches at the beginning.

Here's an example image from my workout and how I would like to see it in Garmin Connect also.
