Crop a ride

Left my garmin on after a ride and got the trip home in the car. on it as well as the ride. How do crop the ride?

Apparently, you can use the .fit repair tool: http://fitfilerepairtool.info/
I've never used it, because I use Sporttracks, which allows you to remove part of your data in a simple way: http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/
