3790T update: Lost Bluetooth and Voice Commands

I've updated my 3790T today and it's installed v5 software and now I have no Bluetooth or Voice Command functionality. Neither of these are listed in the unit's settings either.

Any advice on what to do?

After any software update it's worth doing a master reset. This is particularly true if your GPS isn't working correctly.

Sounds like it's time to call Garmin then.

Really hope it doesn't have to come to that. I've had 5 garmins in the past 3 years. This one is already a replacement for a unit that died. Now its out of warranty. I won't be paying garmin anymore money that's for sure

Most probably update damaged nonvolatile memory in you nuvi. This happens quite often with nuvi 3790. Check model number in system-about menu. If it is 37xx instead of 3790, then your nuvi is damaged. Call support, quite possibly Garmin will take responsibility. Tell us if they wont.

Hi I have the same problem with my 3790T bought in Australia. I now live in Dubai and there are no service center that I know of. Can anyone advise? Thanks!
