File save as in GC with route create.

I have a 6 mile start and end that is the same on 90% of the routes I create. I have tried to do a "save as" so i can then edit the middle of the route keeping the start and end the same. If I re-name the route it overwrites the previous route. I have about 10 routes I want to create with the same start and end... ( I hope that makes sense) I should be able to do a simple Save as and change the name giving me a copy of the route that I can edit.... Is this not possible in GC?
