ANT missed workout, GC hung up on manual upload

I just uploaded a few days' of activities and the ANT agent missed a workout - first time ever. I see it plain as day on my 910XT but it's not transferring. I am trying a manual upload directly in GC, but it seems to be stuck "Uploading."

What I've tried:
- Firefox, GC got stuck uploading
- Updated the ANT agent (there was one update since I checked about a week ago)
- Created a dummy activity
- Transferred again using the ANT agent
- ANT still missed the true workout from Saturday
- Restarted my PC
- Logged into GC in IE, tried a manual upload of the workout. Same hangup - it sees it, it's in the list, but GC is stuck uploading.

1. How long should a manual upload of one workout take?
2. What else can I try to get my workout off my 910 and into GC?!?

Update: I deleted all files older than 30 days on the device, then tried a "Transfer All" - well, actually, I tried a transfer all twice, and each time the "last transfer with device Forerunner 910XT...failed." First time I have had a transfer fail. I also went in and deleted the test activity from tonight, as well as another mistake workout from Saturday (the day of the activity that won't upload), thinking that these were the problem.

Nope. Trying to manually upload once more, and it's still uploading - about 30 minutes later....

Any suggestions? This was a really key workout for me.

I am having the same problem. Do these posts ever get replied to? I'm very disappointed at the number of these posts that I see never get responded to.

I am also having the same issue. I wish there had been a reply to this thread!
  • This almost always happens because the offending activity file is corrupt. You should be able to locate the offending .fit file in C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Garmin\<DeviceId>\Activities by looking at the filename or trying to manually upload/import it to Garmin Connect. Once you've found the problem .fit file, you can usually have someone use the Fit File Repair Tool to fix it and then manually upload/import the fixed file.
