Has anyone managed to contact Garmin Support?

I put in a trouble ticket yesterday but apparently it's a FIFO queue. I've seen a few other postings here on the forum so I know I'm not alone once logged in it looks like this for me...

At this point it's the end of the working day anywhere in north america so unless someone is actively working on this in asia pacific we are probably out of luck for another day.

I hate to give up and start paying for Training Peaks but between doesn't work and can't connect it's not all that useful to keep my workouts and results on Garmin's site. They don't appear to be treating Connect like a production environment.

I'm having the following issue too:

Sorry, our site is temporarily down for maintenance.
    Please check back soon.
    Error 500

I cannot get logged into my dashboard.
  • No problem here in NZ on Safari. Might be an idea, particularly if you are using Internet Explorer to check security.

I've managed to login successfully using Chrome following these steps:

    1. Go into settings
    2. Go to the bottom of the page and select 'Show advanced settings...'
    3. Under 'Privacy', select 'Content settings...'
    4. Under 'Cookies', select 'All cookies and site data...'
    5. In the search box enter 'Garmin'
    6. All Garmin cookies should be displayed, I deleted all of them
    7. Close the forms click 'Done' on each
    8. Open Garmin connect in a browser window, try and login you may still have the problem if you do look in the top right of the address bar and there should be a small shield icon, click on it and it will display a small popup with the message "The page includes script from unauthenticated source" and a link "Load unsafe script", click on the link to load the script.
    9. Close the page and try again, I found I had to do step 8 twice before the site came up ok.

I've tried this process on a couple of machines and now I can login to all of them.

    Hopefully this will help others.
