705 max speed incorrect

I've seen the maximum speed downloaded on some of my rides to be way above realistic speeds. The Garmin 705 screen may show a realistic max speed of 25 mph, but the download max speed might show 200 mph. What is causing the unit to download such aberration to Garmin connect program.
