Garmin Edge Cadence Problem

Hi,

I have now paired my Edge 800 with two different ant+ cadence sensors but it does not read cadence. I scan the device to confirm that it picks up the sensor which it does, and the light of the sensor flashes confirming it is operational, but it still does not read cadence.

The first sensor was the Garmin Ant + sensor, the second was a Bontrager Duotrap. No joy.

Any suggestions?

Cadence issues

I too had cadence issues. Was going well then stopped inexplicably. Replaced the battery with no change. Reset the sensor then reset (small button on outer side) the Edge 800 to factory settings. It all burst back into life.
Not sure if it'll help you but it sorted things for me.

The "reset factory settings" was the thing that worked.

Pain in the neck but at least its working now after much faffing.
