Default units

When sending someone an exercise or course to see, why are they forced to see it in miles (empiric units) by default?

I have metric as default in my account settings, why can't they see the sender's default units (or the units that were used when course was saved)?

I know there is the "see in metric" button, but it's well "hidden"and meny people miss/don't see it...

Completely agree. Every time I load someone's exercise its in empiric units, and I need to switch before it makes sense to me.

Use the default units for the owner of the exercise or do an IP look up and pick the correct unites based on the country of the person looking at the exercise.
