Garmin Edge 500 Won't pickup ANY sensors

Brand new device. Mounted GCS 10 as instructed. All light flash as they should but Edge 500 will not detect it. Have a friend with a Edge 500 that works great. I had him see if my sensors work with his device and Speed and Cadence work great. Then I tried my Device to see if I could pickup his sensors and no joy there either. So I did a HARD reset on the device and tried it all over again and still no joy. I even went so far and manually entered the Sensor ID that my friends device had when he sync'd with my sensor and still no joy. I have submitted a Garmin® Product Support with your inquiry (KMM28036516I15977L0KM) but have yet heard back. Has anybody had this issue before I really wanted to use this? The GPS function works fine by the way.

If you bought it locally, exchange it for another. Had my 500 for over a year now and except for a dislike of some of the ways they handle various features, mines worked very well.

However, Garmin Support is generally good to most users that have issues, you just have to be patient.
