Is there any way to use different color for different activities in the new calendar view. Everything went blue with the new redesign and it's a pain in the a.. to differentiate and find particular activities in the current calendar state. Any way to bring back the old colored activities calendar?
Agreed - this is terrible for multi-sport athletes and for those who keep notes in their calendar. I don't want to have to click on every note I write - before they were all visible. That is the purpose of a note!
New Features... " color code almost everything". Garmin I'm afraid you just stepped backwards, its all one colour. Please fix this or go back to the old calender.
I have to add my voice to this unofficial petition - the old setup provided much more information at a glance. Keeping track of swim vs. bike vs. run workouts is now a huge pain in the ass. Please add some functionality to color-coding different types of activities.
Arrrggghhhh! I used to print my old calendars so I had all of my workouts, races , notes and weight on a single page... This new calendar is a MAJOR step backwards!
With the old calander I planned my week by putting courses against relevant days with this new calander there doesn't seem to be a way to put courses to each day ..... in fact the course I all ready had in for this week have all diappeared. Come on Garmin, you clearly didn't beat test this with any end users, lets have the old calander back please.
I've found it ....... where as before it was one click to "add to calendar", now you have enter an event, then click edit, then click more them choose course!!!!!!!!!!!
The old calendar was my primary planning and quick analysis tool. One could quickly see different types of activities and notes. With new update not only we lost different color coding for different kind of activities but with only bleak colors available now I cannot see a thing on this calendar!!! I guess it is become activity on it's own to sort what the heck is going on with my calendar..... I agree with previous members, this new calendar is a *huge* step backward in terms of usability - bleak colors, no differentiation between different activity types, hidden notes. If thing do not change I will need to find a better tool to manage my multi sport calendar... :-(
The only thing I like is the monthly totals at the bottom.
Totally agree. This calendar is far less functional than the old one. I name all of my activities so at a glance I can see where I was running on any given day. Now the names are hidden until mouse-over. Can't understand taking away the multi-coloured activities either. Everything looks the same, and there is virtually no colour contrast. I understand the need to progress and improve functionality, but things need to be thought through a little better before removing basic features that worked well.
Monthly totals at bottom is great. How about a quick toggle between Metric and Statute viewing without having to go into settings?
