I received my new 2595LMT yesterday and set it up, connected to the dashboard and downloaded software and map updates with not problems. But, there are a couple of issues I have that may or may not be problems. Need some input form experienced users.
1. After my device times out and goes to sleep and I awaken it I get a popup box saying "Demonstration active - Device Will Restart in 5" Is that normal? How do I disable the demonstration?
2. The GPS signal bars have a re4d diagonal slash through them and the top green map bar displays "GPS is OFF" How do I get GPS turned on?
Another thing has just popped up. I had located and saved a few addresses as favorites and now they have disappeared. I think the device is running in some kind of simulation status but I can turn off the GPS Simulator option under Navigation.
