Can't upload new acticity from Edge 800 SD to Garmin Connect

The Garmin Connect Plugin can't find any activities which are on the SD Card ("GARMIN SD" in the upload area of Garmin Connect). The progress indicator run to the end (100%) and then nothing happens. The problem is on FireFox, Chrome and Safari (all up tp date). Plugin is in version 4.0.4. Running on OS X version 10.8.3 (also up to date). Reinstalling the plugin doesn't help.

Yes :)

In Garmin Connect > connect your device > click UpLoad > click Manual Upload > click Choose File > browse your hard drive and open any Removable Drives you find until you find a folder named GPX >
> highlight all the files (or 1 at a time) and click Open > click large button "Upload activities from file".

yeah, i know that i can do that. but that's not the way i want to do it. specially if you don't always upload all your activities after you come home since you can only upload one at a time.
I want it to work like it's supposed to.
if the device supports external storage that you can write to, it should support reading from it as well :)

Just finished my first ride with my new 800 and loved it up until I hit this. This really needs to be fixed. I don't have enough space on the internal drive to store enough. With my Forerunner 305 I had a bout a years worth of activities and could transfer everything to a new install of training center or whatever. This is bad. I am very unhappy.

Yeh Garmin whats going on....... I have to manualy upload my activities, it was so simple on my edfe 305 Please Please Please fix this.......I notice the files are all FIT should they be somthing else, is that why there not uploading automatically?
