Which models for custom routes??

Hello,
Which models accept custom routes in .gpx format from programs such as BaseCamp MapQuest etc???
Seems that some do, some don't and it's not well documented which do and which don't.
I received am LM50 as a gift, near as I can tell it apparently cannot deal with custom routes.

If that's a nuvi 50LM it can't store routes. Garmin publishes specs for each nuvi, and you will see Routes = 0 for the 50:
