I know this has been requested before and I'm slightly perplexed as to why it wasn't implemented :confused:. Having gradient % is such critical information for both planning and analyzing rides that I was surprised when I signed up to Garmin Connect when it wasn't already there, particularly considering it's available on my Edge 810 as I ride (why is it not uploaded?!) and also through 3rd party software.
I'm no software engineer, but I can't imagine it being too difficult to implement considering the ease of calculation, and it would be such an attractive feature.
I can imagine the feature as being able to hover your mouse over a certain part of your course and showing the gradient % at this point. You could also have the option to highlight a stretch of the course, possibly a particularly hill, to get an average %. Indeed, you would be provided with the whole ride average % gradient.
Please let this happen!
