Garmin Connect doesn't Recognize Forerunner 310xt

I've been trying to get my new 310xt to upload to Garmin Connect but every time I "upload" I get the message: No Device Found. I know it's connected properly to the the prongs because it's charging when hooked up to the computer. I've tried wiggling it around, unclipping it from charger, etc but nothing works. Anyone else having issues with their 310xt and Garmin Connect?
