Connect map jumps to wrong location

When I go into a part of Garmin Connect which uses the map display it usually defaults to London to start with. Why? It knows from my profile where I live.

Also, the search "current map view" option seems to be buggy, more often giving results for London (or tonight Des Moine) than for the area that I have displayed in the map pane.

    Not only that, but if I delete the location choice and then hit search, it autofills to Current Map View. Great. Then jumps to somewhere in Idaho for the results. Not great.

    This seems to be related to ISP location.... Aside from entering a placename, is there a way to actually zome in on a new location and hve the courses appear?
